The International Association for the Study of the Commons (IASC) welcomes proposals for the period 2019 – 2020 from individuals and organizations interested in hosting IASC Conferences, workshops, and other events.
Benefits from hosting IASC regional and/or thematic events
IASC-Conferences, workshops and other types of event bring together scholars and practitioners from around the world interested in a specific theme related to commons or from a specific continent.
Hosting a conference or workshop can bring your organization an expanded network of both global and regional commons scholars and a major opportunity to place a spotlight on specific regional or thematic issues related to commons.
The IASC-Secretariat offers extensive support to local organizers to help set-up IASC branded events, including registration and support for conference/workshop/event design and operation.

As this is a permanent call, no specific deadline applies. However, to schedule your event and help you organize the event, please do contact us at least 6 months in advance.
