SPREAD THE WORD
The IASC relies on the contributions of their members and donations from the broader community to support its activities. There are different ways you can support the IASC:
— Make a donation to one of the IASC causes. Donation transactions are handled by PayPal. You don’t need a PayPal account and you will be offered the choice to pay with debit or credit card as well.
— Use AmazonSmile when you shop on Amazon. Amazon donates 0.5% of the price of eligible AmazonSmile purchases to the charitable organization of your choice, which could be the International Association for the Study of the Commons. AmazonSmile is the same Amazon you know. So the next time you want to use Amazon, go to smile.amazon.com. Revenue derives via Amazon Smile will be used to support young non-OECD scholars to present their work at international IASC conferences.
— If you are interested to donate to the IASC in other ways such as transfer of stocks or donate gifts in memory of a colleague or family member contact Caren Burgermeister at iasc@asu.edu.
— You can also add the IASC as a beneficiary of your life insurance or retirement plan, or naming the IASC in your will or estate. These are efficient and generous ways to support the IASC! Please contact Caren Burgermeister at iasc@asu.edu for bequest language, or for TIN-number for beneficiary designation forms.
IASC Conferences travel support for non-OECD and young scholars: To present their research at an IASC international conference. To allocate travel awards IASC conferences have a call for those who have a presentation accepted, and a representation of the IASC council and local organizers will evaluate the applications.
International Journal of the Commons Waivers for non-OECD and young scholars: A waiver for a publication will cost about $500 per article and given the availability of funds the Editors in Chief of IJC can decide the best use of those funds.
IASC Membership Waivers for young non-OECD scholars: Thirty dollars will cover one person a year. If sufficient funds are available we will have an open call for young non-OECD scholars to apply once a year within the broader IASC community.
General Operations of the IASC: Any contribution is welcome to cover the General Operations of the secretariat.
