This year’s theme for World Commons Week will be Learning, Unlearning, and Evolving: Commons In Classrooms, Communities and Beyond. The theme will largely revolve around Ostrom’s 8 Design Principles for Commons Governance. We hope that the discussion during the WCW 2025 events will support bringing in perspectives from people who are actively living and practicing Ostrom’s principles.
